Nightmare before christmas

¿No ves? Se besan, ¡Cómo no!
¡Mirad! Familias reunidas cuentan cuentos
mientras comen el turrón
¡Qué horror!
¿Qué es?
Un árbol puedo ver
¿Por qué tanta decoración?
¡Ahí va! Son luces de colores.
Hay adornos relucientes y cositas muy brillantes
y parece divertido.
¡¡Sí señor!!
Es diversión, es diversión,
pudiera ser lo que soñé
¿Qué es?
¿Qué es?
Por fin es hora de dormir.
¿A ver?
¡Amor! ¡Calor! Hay a mi alrededor
y yo estoy mucho mejor,
Oh! ¿Qué es?

En versión orginal:
What's this? What's this?
There's color everywhere
What's this?
There's white things in the air
What's this?
I can't believe my eyes
I must be dreaming
Wake up, Jack, this isn't fair
What's this?
What's this? What's this?
There's something very wrong
What's this?
There's people singing songs

What's this?
The streets are lined with
Little creatures laughing
Everybody seems so happy
Have I possibly gone daffy?
What is this?
What's this?
There are children throwing snowballs here
Instead of throwing heads
They're busy building toys
And absolutely no one's dead
There's frost on every window
Oh, I can't believe my eyes
And in my bones I feel the warnth
That's coming from inside
Oh, look
What's this?
They're hanging mistletoe, they kiss
Why that looks so unique, inspired
They're gathering around to hear a story
Roasting chestnuts on a fire
What's this?
What's this?
In here they've got a little tree, how queer
And who would ever think
And why?
They're covering it with tiny little things
They've got electric lights on strings
And there's a smile on everyone
So, now, correct me if I'm wrong
This looks like fun
This looks like fun
Oh, could it be I got my wish?
What's this?
Oh my, what now?
The children are asleep
But look, there's nothing underneath
No ghouls, no witches here to scream and scare them
Oe ensnare them, only little cozy things
Secure inside their dremaland
What's this?
The monsters are all missing
And the nightmares can't be found
And in their place there seems to be
Good feeling all around
Instead of screams, I swear
I can hear music in the air
The smell of cakes and pies
IS absolutely everywhere
The sights, the sounds
They're eveywhere and all around
I've never felt so good before
This empty place inside of me is filling up
I simply cannot get enough
I want it, oh, I want it
Oh, I want it for my own
I've got to know
I've got to know
What is this place that I have found?
What is this?
Christmas Town, hmmm.

Felices fiestas.

Out Of Africa

"-When did you learn to fly?
-Yesterday."

Now we are free, Gladiator

Como dice Maximus Decimus Meridius: "father of a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife and I shall have my vengeance in this life or the next".

Working girl

Videolip:

We're coming to the edge,
Running on the water,
Coming through the fog,
Your sons and daughters.

Let the river run,
Let all the dreamers
Wake the nation.
Come, the New Jerusalem.

Silver cities rise,
The morning lights
The streets that meet them,
And sirens call them on
With a song.

It's asking for the taking.
Trembling, shaking.
Oh, my heart is aching.

We're coming to the edge,
Running on the water,
Coming through the fog,
Your sons and daughters.

We the great and small
Stand on a star
And blaze a trail of desire
Through the dark'ning dawn.

It's asking for the taking.
Come run with me now,
The sky is the color of blue
You've never even seen
In the eyes of your lover.

Oh, my heart is aching.
We're coming to the edge,
Running on the water,
Coming through the fog,
Your sons and daughters.
...

Dream for an Insomniac

"The day I arrived at the cafe[...] I saw your picture [...]. It was like I know you or something. [...] You were exactly the way I imagine. Honest, vibrant,... ¿diferent? I don't know."

"Just remember one thing: anything less than mad passionate extraordinary love, is a waste of your time". "There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and Love should not be one of them".

Cake interpreta Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps:

Videoclip de Eels de la canción Novocaine For The Soul:

Aimee Mann, en directo, con You're With Stupid Now:
